Dulichius: Sacred Motets Review
Little is known about Dulichius' musical training. He attended the Universities of Leipzig and Wittenberg. In 1587 he became music director at Fürstliches Pädagogium in Stettin, a post he would hold until his death. He was also responsible for the cultivation of music at the court of the Dukes of Pomerania and in St. Mary's Church in Stettin. Dulichius composed 232 finely crafted and tonally beautiful motets.
